Owens a lifelong Athenian born in Athens, Ga. Completed education in the Clarke County school system, graduated from Burney Harris High School. She began a career in biblical education through Beulah Heights Bible College in pursuit of an Associates of Arts degree. Completed Ministry Training at Timothy Baptist Church where she is a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor/Bishop Jerry F. Hutchins. A widow blessed with two adult sons and five grandchildren, a woman of God dedicated to his service, called and ordained by God in the ministry as a Prophetess and the gift of healing in 1996. Prophetess Owens retired in 2004 with 34 years of service via the State of Ga. in the field of Developmental Disabilities. She received several Faithful Service Awards and certificates for Management in State Government, Supervisory Skills, Performance management, Employee Development Series, Business and Financial Administration and numerous others.
